Summer is FINALLY arriving! #beachart

Summer is finally peaking it's head out and I for one am way past due to worship the rays of the sun. Beach art is one of my favorite things to paint and there is quite a great impasto variety currently in my Etsy shop. CLICK HERE to be taken to my paintings and browse more great ocean scenes.

This evening.

I worked on an abstract painting I had been mulling over in my mind. I'm not sure what I will title it yet though I have some ideas in process. This art work should be posted tomorrow in my Etsy Original Painting Store.

I did tried something new and unique with this painting, I blotted tissue paper in the clouds and sky area. Once the tissue paper became heavy with paint I let it rest and become attached by drying to the canvas. I really love the texture that came from the paint and the tissue paper. This is a really one of a kind piece with lots of things to look at and enjoy.
