Stage 2 Commission

A lot of commissions end up being tweaked to add colors or changes that reflect a clients personal idea. This time a blue/grey was added to tie in the home owners floor and lighting currently in the home and leaves near the top. Stay tuned for more photos.

This painting sold this month and was one of my favorites As you can tell from the photos it is just so vibrant and the extra attention to detail is from one of my rare moments. I'm so glad it found a new home. Thank you.

Finished Commissioned Painting.

Here are the finished photos of the commisioned art work mentioned in my previous blog posting. I really love how it came out. Feminine but powerful, light and airy but grounded. I think the light blue really is an amazing color for so many decorating choices. The aspen trees with their metallic and grey/black anchoring the entire painting and your eyes being drawn to the art work. What do you like about it?
