Would you like with me and just forget the world?

Something on my bucket list...to sleep and lay beneath the stars in a vast field. The only sounds around are the sounds of the night. Crickets, the wind, an owl... This is one of my most favorite works to date. It means a lot to me and I know it will find the most perfect home someday.

Inspired by lightening!

I was driving in the car when there was a lightening and thunder storm just the other day and I really was inspired to make a little representation of that. This is titled "midnight lightening strike". It is mixed media acrylic paints, ink pens and tissue paper. Finished !

Here are photos of the finished product. The day I finished and listed this painting it was raining and using my iphone to take the photos produced the best result. I will be photographing it before shipment to its new home, with my nikon so I can send the photos to my company who reproduced my art work for stores. (Pier1, Target, World Market etc) Who knows, perhaps you will be able to buy this on canvas, lamp shades, shower curtains and more at your local stylish retailer.

In the begining...

I have always had a obsession with staring at the night sky, the universe. I find it so amazing, breathtaking. I finally have found some time to explore some paintings relating to my interest in this area. I really love how this painting turned out, the last photo isn't even the finished product.
