A Commision. New Art Work In Progress!

New art work being worked for a client in Colorado. I have re created this scene a few times and I always enjoy doing so. It has such great depth and feeling with the added teal and magenta in the aspens.

NEW *Bee Art*

Friends,

Bees are dying off around the world in record numbers -- but big retailers are still selling the poison that is killing them.

At the end of May, SumOfUs' activist beekeepers will travel to deliver our petition on the corporations' home turf. Can you add your name now, so the retailers see the tide of public opinion and commit to stop selling bee-killing pesticides?

Thank you

-A portion of this sale will go to help fight for the honey bee population. BEE there voice!-

Website Feature. NerdWallet.

Thank you to NerdWallet shopping for featuring my art work on their web site. They wrote up a nice paragraph as well:

"Have your own winter wonderland with My Imagination Is Yours’ aspect tree painting! With a vibrant turquoise blue background, this painting presents black, white and grey aspen trees in various sizes that beautifully contrasts with the blue background. Made with acrylic paints in a textured style, this stunning artwork is a wonderful addition to your living room or den. This painting runs across three canvases, making it a modern-styled, multi-panel masterpiece."

You can find this feature on their website under HOME/INDIE GIFT GUIDES and The Color Chronicles: 10 Shades Of Blue. Or by CLICKING HERE!

Thank you NerdWallet!

NEW Art Work Posted ! "Modern Blocks Primary Colors"

I had a lot of fun with this painting. I had been thinking about it for quite a few days before I started. Recently I was inspired by primary colors. (and tah dah!) I feel this is such a statement even in it simplicity. It came out very unique and one of a kind. I use to do a lot of line and block work when I first started painting and I'm happy to get back into it. How the colors flow and move your eyes around the canvas creates a great focal piece of art work for any room.

Sides are painted black, deep edge gallery canvas, size 40x30 (or switch it for 30x40 orientation) Versatile. Find more about this art work by CLICKING HERE!

Cheers,
VL
